You can make various shapes of cookies from one type of cookie dough. No need for cookie cutters, and you can produce them in large quantities. It’s quick and easy, yet the result looks like it was made by a cookie expert. I think the shape of the cookies can be enjoyed by everyone, from beginners to advanced bakers! Cookie Dough 【生地作り】

  1. やわらかくしたバターを、泡立て器でマヨネーズのようなクリーム状にします。

    Softened butter is whipped into a creamy texture, similar to mayonnaise, using a whisk.

  1. 粉砂糖を加え、ふわっと均一になるまでさらに混ぜます。

    Add the powdered sugar and continue mixing until it becomes light and uniform.

  1. 卵白の半量を加えて混ぜます。混ぜはじめは分離しているように見えますが、混ぜ続けると馴染みます。混ざり切ったら卵白の残りの半量も加え、均一になるまで混ぜます。

    Add half of the egg whites and mix. At first, it may appear separated, but as you continue mixing, it will come together. Once fully incorporated, add the remaining half of the egg whites and mix until uniform.

  1. 薄力粉をふるって加え、艶が出るまでゴムべらで混ぜます。

    Sift the cake flour and add it, then mix with a rubber spatula until it becomes glossy.

  1. 生地を白と黒に分けます。白い生地はそのまま使用し、円形の金口を取り付けた絞り袋に詰めます。黒い生地は、生地100gに対してブラックココア5gを加え、均等に混ぜ合わせた後、絞り袋に詰めます。この際、絞り袋の中の空気をしっかりと抜いてください。

    Divide the dough into two parts, white and black. Keep the white dough as it is and fill a piping bag with a round piping tip. For the black dough, add 5g of black cocoa to 100g of dough and mix well. Then, fill the piping bag with the black dough, making sure to remove any air from the bag.

Shape the Dough 【成形】

  1. 天板にオーブンペーパーを敷き、いろいろな形を作ります。焼くと1.5倍ほどに膨らむ事を想像しながら、好きな形に絞り出します。

    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and shape the dough into various forms. While imagining that the dough will expand to about 1.5 times its size as it bakes, pipe the dough into your desired shapes.

Baking 【焼成】

  1. 予熱した160度のオーブンで8-10分間焼きます。焼き色がつきすぎないように気をつけます。焼き上がったら網の上で冷まし、完全に冷めたらチョコペンで目を描きます。

    Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) for 8-10 minutes, being careful not to overbrown them. Once baked, let them cool on a wire rack. After they are completely cooled, use a chocolate pen to draw the eyes.
